TURNING POINT UK touring programme 2024-2025…

Great news! The National Lottery Heritage Fund are supporting our planned partner-led public engagement activities during TURNING POINT’s exhibitions in Birmingham (May-Dec 2024) and London (Oct 2024-July 2025).

Through TURNING POINT’s R&D and exhibitions so far (2018-2023), collaborating partners and stakeholders have voluntarily worked with us to devise ways of using our immersive Black heritage storytelling as catalysts for their work with 6 target groups: Schools (13-17), Young people (17-30), Elders, Dementia support, mainstream Arts & Heritage, general public.

Since our TURNING POINT video installation launched at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery (Nov 2022-May 2023), our growing network and their innovations have achieved in-depth engagement – double underlined for community engagement!

Now, thanks to The National Lottery Heritage Fund, we can fund partner-appointed local specialist workshop facilitators and public presentations. We will add to our team to help deliver fantastic Birmingham and London programmes. And we’ll harness the tools for using TURNING POINT in a new digital portal!
