By way of application, all we’re asking people to do is send us a compelling email about themselves, why they ‘fit the bill’, and want to be involved. No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. What we want is commitment and passion to tell these stories. Deadline for emails is 5pm, 2nd April.
Communities of Liberation is a historical research and public art project which aims to increase awareness of the long history of the African presence in the borough of Tower Hamlets, by focusing specifically on excavating and sharing stories of individuals who lived in the borough in the 17th and 18th centuries.
