  • Oct – in Liverpool: Black History Month screenings & activity programme.
  • Oct (24) – Mar (25) in London: touring programme with partner-led activities.

1b. TURNING POINT International Exhibitions & Screenings…

1c. NEW COMMISSION “CC”:

  • We’re waiting to start on a new video installation commissioned by 14-18 NOW Legacy Fund. This work is set in 1940s Barbados. [This project has brought our exciting collaboration with Arts & Heritage – shout out to Marie-Anne McQuay!].

1d. NEW PROJECT “B”:

  • We’re in pre-production/R&D for a short documentary film, co-directing with a new member of Sweet Patootee Arts’ collective, Sandra Volcere. [Huge thanks to Arsenal FC in the Community for their support again].

1e. NEW PROJECT “P”: Funding permitting, we start winter 2024/early 2025:

  • Really enjoying working with our new academic partner – to enable UK & international participation in groundbreaking Arts & Heritage. The aim is a 3 to 5-year programme, based in the UK but linking to collaborating institutions and communities in France and the Americas.

2. Sweet Patootee Ltd

2a. NEW PROJECT “SC” – hope to start pre-production in early 2025:

  • Fundraising and R&D are underway for an ambitious return to (commercial) Black heritage filmmaking. We always said we’d only do another if it was the right project…!

As ever, thank you friends, mentors, our awesome Advisory Board, collaborators, stakeholders, and audiences for helping us to build and manage such an ambitious exciting disruptive slate of projects…!
