We continue our focus on Black awakening in the Americas after WW1, experimenting with period drama inspired by real stories of Black women and WW1 veterans from the Caribbean. Our aim is compelling entertaining storytelling, and we really hope you’ll like the results. But this is research and development after all – so we’re seeking feedback from a wide range of possible audience groups. Please feel free to let us know what you think.

A last word to praise the star of this Trailer – Ashley Gayle, another rising Black British star of Stage & Screen. From working with us Ashley joined the Theatre production of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin – they’re now touring the UK (just opened in Bath) … Ash you’re another colossal talent – thank you for bringing such wonderful magic to the table!
