We continue our focus on Black awakening in the Americas after WW1, experimenting with period drama inspired by real stories of Black women and WW1 veterans from the Caribbean. Our aim is compelling entertaining storytelling, and we really hope you’ll like the results. But this is research and development after all – so please feel free to let us know what you think.

A last word to praise the star of this Trailer – Miss Veronica Beatrice Lewis, a rising Black British star of Stage & Screen, much in demand. From working with us Veronica dashed off to complete her wonderfully successful Theatre run with “Queens of Sheba” – and she’s now adapting the Maxim Gorky play “Philistines” … We are so looking forward to the next stage of our journey with you Veronica – from the very first, you’ve brought Velda to the room!
