UK Black people and communities living and working with Dementia:

01.03.2018

Through the generous support of the Culture Dementia UK network, Tony is carrying out a brief London-based outreach project, as part of his work with the British Museum. He is researching experiences and insights of Black people and communities people living and working with Dementia.

It’s a huge opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding that can shape Sweet Patootee’s work as well as the Museum’s.  Huge thanks is due to the following for their time and support: Enid Jackson, Dr David Trusswell and Sidonie Hawthorne; Diane Campbell;  Nubian Life Day Care Centre’s Jazz Brown, Andrea Lemard, Irene Pierre and ferociously brilliant team – along with their amazing service users.
